Effect of Sangyang(LI1) and Tae-baek(SP3) Acupuncture on Yangdorack

Abstract
|

|
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to observe the effect of Sangyang(LI1) and Tae-baek(SP3) acupuncture by Yangdorack.
Methods: 23 subjects were examined twice before and after acupuncture from April, 2005 to September, 2005 in Oriental Medical Hospital of Dong-Shin University. After we checked the electric current on twelve points of Yangdo, and analysed the results using SPSS(Version 11.0).
Results and Conclusions:
1. The values of electric current are not significant, when sorted by body mass index(BMI). But underweight testee shows
increased value of electric current on heart meridian.
2. There are no differences found between right value and left value on organic analysis.
3. The mean value is elevated by Sangyang(LI1) and Tae-baek(SP3) acupuncture, the value of bi(Þ¡) organ is significantly elevated on p<0.05.
